Dos Victorias Jose Pariente Verdejo 2004

BN#161203 |
Appearance: Brilliant almond-yellow color with greenish reflections.
Aroma: Intensely fruity with aromas of fennel, floral and scrubland in a background of anise; some notes of tropical fruits.
Taste: In the mouth it is equally fruity and fresh. With a glycerine-like feel, flavorful and structured. Glutinous, sweet and with a touch of bitterness at the end, lending it the elegance characteristic of the Verdejo variety.
Pairing: It is a wine best paired with appetizers of any type of smoked base, light cheeses and Serrano ham. Ideal companion for fish seafood, pasta, rice and white meat dishes.
Wine Enthusiast
Round, fruity and quite exceptional in its class. This Verdejo sets the standard for Rueda; it’s loaded with green melon and pineapple up front and backed by bright apple, pear and green herb flavors. Perfectly balanced and fresh. Stands out from the crowd.
Score: 91.
