Château La Cardonne 2000 is a scintillating, dense purplish red. Its complex, fragrant bouquet is a mixture of spice, blackcurrant and bilberry. The palate is round and flavoursome, introducing mineral and deliciously smoky notes on a smooth tannin base of the very finest quality. Long, fresh finish.

Lovely aromas of crushed berries, chocolate and smoke follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a clean finish. Well-done. Best after 2005.
