Wine Advocate The 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Prestige has a saturated dark ruby/purple-tinged color, beautiful texture, oodles of pure cassis and black cherry fruit, with a hint of licorice, smoke, and new saddle leather. It is a dense, chewy, full-bodied wine that has supple tannins and low acidity. It should drink beautifully for 15 or more years. (91-94) Score: 94. —Robert Parker, October 2007. Wine Spectator This is very alluring, with warm raspberry confiture gliding over incense, spice bread and fig sauce notes. The long, silky finish has nice dark licorice and black tea notes.
