Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards Right Bank 2005
 |
|
BN#214928 |
Color: Deep ruby. Aroma: Vanilla bean, plum, leather, cedar and mocha. Taste: Well rounded middle, ripe tannins and good balance of oak and fruit. Some smoke and caramel. Very rich with a long finish and a lingering aftertaste that makes one take another sip. Should get better and better for 6-8 years and hold there for 10 more.
Wine Advocate
The 2005 Right Bank is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. The 2005 displays blue fruits, a hint of bay leaf, terrific aromatics, and an elegant, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. It undeniably comes across as a classic, complex Napa version of a St.-Emilion. This wine needs several years of bottle age and should drink well for 20+ years.
Score: 94.
