Captivating aromas of raspberry preserves, tobacco and smoke. Very soft and supple on the palate, with a delightful, mouthwatering freshness to the fruit. Lots of allspice and tobacco complexity, too, for the discerning Cadence drinkers who demand more than a fruit bomb. The wine finishes with velvvety tannins that do not get in the way of the lingering spice and berry flavors.

This mostly Cabernet Franc red blend is drinking beautifully right now, but it’s got some real stuffing. The fruit is polished, plummy, and evolved; there are nice toasty hightlights and even hints of tobacco if you look. It drinks like a much pricier wine.
