This wine is made from four different Chardonnay clones chosen for their dynamic flavor profile, cluster and berry size. On the nose, there is a bright bouquet of citrus evolving into flavors of pear, honey and apple notes. This steely chardonnay has a creamy texture which is completed by a long rich finish.

Younger and a bit more raw than the ’03, and the oak is sticking out more boldly, but this should be a fine bottle in much the same fashion as its predecessor in a year or so. There’s a purity throughout that’s outstanding.
